The role may be based in Pittsburgh, PA, Dallas, TX, or Cincinnati, OH, and can be eligible for remote work in certain approved locations. If remote work is approved, the work must be done from a private, secure, and confidential home workspace, and occasional on-site presence may still be needed based on business requirements.

In this position, you will review commercial loan documentation against credit approvals, confirm that all required items are received, and verify that executed documents are accurate. The work includes handling loan documents such as notes, loan agreements, resolutions, and amendments, along with servicing activities like advances, payments, and reprice settings.

The schedule for this role is Monday through Friday, 8:15 a.m. EST to 5:00 p.m. EST. PNC is looking for people who are motivated, driven, creative, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment focused on innovation and customer experience. Employment visa sponsorship is not provided, and STEM OPT participation is not available for this role.

  • Review transaction files, collateral items, and construction-related requirements to confirm work is complete, accurate, and aligned with credit approvals, legal documentation, service levels, and procedures.
  • Decide whether loan disbursements may proceed or whether more documentation or escalation is needed.
  • Analyze reports to spot exceptions, track quality, and support compliance.
  • Contribute to risk-reduction efforts and may act as a subject matter resource or help train others on specialty products.

Requirements

  • Ability to apply advanced commercial loan and specialty product knowledge in a high-complexity environment.
  • Strong understanding of loan documentation, due diligence, regulatory compliance, and deal structure review.

  • Comfort working with customers, investors, and internal teams in a consulting and advisory capacity.
  • Analytical thinking, sound judgment, and critical decision-making skills.
  • Experience managing multiple priorities while maintaining quality and service standards.
  • Effective communication, relationship management, and negotiation skills.
  • Preferred work background: a university or college degree with less than 1 year of professional experience, or completion of a formal development program; equivalent combinations of education, certification, experience, and military service may also be considered.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred/required for the standard qualification path listed.
  • No certifications required.
  • No licenses required.
  • Must be able to comply with employment restrictions tied to FDIA Section 19, and for any registered role, SAFE Act and/or FINRA criminal history rules.
