Role Overview

We are recruiting experienced Litigation Paralegals for our Chicago and Northern Indiana (Crown Point) offices. Candidates must have a minimum of three years’ civil litigation experience. The role entails direct collaboration with attorneys and support teams throughout all stages of clients’ legal matters. Key duties include performing legal research, composing pleadings and motions, managing e-discovery, organizing case documentation, and assisting with trial-related tasks.

For the Northern Indiana position, additional duties involve drafting discovery, reviewing and compiling production documents, obtaining medical records, aiding in trial preparations by researching and engaging expert witnesses, developing medical chronologies and summary reports, and preparing deposition synopses. Proficiency in MS Word, meticulous attention to detail, and excellent communication and organizational skills are critical. Prior trial experience is advantageous.

Both positions demand full-time commitment initially onsite, with opportunities for hybrid work arrangements following a period of training and performance evaluation.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required; paralegal certification is preferred.

  • Proficient legal research skills using Lexis-Nexis.
  • Experience handling legal case management and document review workflows.
  • Knowledgeable about litigation procedures.

  • Demonstrated professional judgment, discretion, and dedication to ethical standards and client service.
