Key Responsibilities

• Systematically organize, catalogue, and classify library materials in both digital and print formats.
• Stay updated with the latest resources and publications to enrich the library’s collection.
• Monitor various information sources and choose suitable materials to enhance library offerings.
• Guide students and teaching staff in locating and selecting the information they require.
• Supervise the overall administration and upkeep of the library premises.
• Administer the circulation system ensuring confidentiality and appropriate handling of library records.
• Collaborate with educators to encourage a passion for reading among the student body.
• Enhance the library’s appeal and accessibility by creating engaging displays, informative guides, and promotional materials for both students and staff.
• Engage continuously in professional growth and development activities related to library sciences.

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum of two years’ experience working as a librarian in CBSE-affiliated schools.
• Possess a bachelor's or master's degree in Library Science or Information Studies.
