Learning Experience Designer - 2 Hour Learning Framework (Remote)

Role Overview

This role is centered around the innovative 2-Hour Learning model, where children complete a full day's academic curriculum in just two highly focused hours, freeing afternoons for creative and physical activities. As a Learning Experience Designer, you will remotely oversee and enhance this framework by transforming extensive AI-generated learner data into actionable insights that help each student achieve mastery of 90% or above. You will actively coach students during challenges, swiftly removing barriers to maintain their learning momentum and boost their confidence. Your work will include deep analysis of student data to discover hidden trends that facilitate their full potential and contribute to the development of cutting-edge AI tools aimed at improving learning speed significantly.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed Academic Data Reports and conduct thorough evaluations to identify and correct issues promptly, within a 48-hour timeframe.
• Lead urgent intervention coaching sessions and follow-ups to resolve learning obstacles, differentiate between errors and knowledge gaps, and keep students motivated.
• Evaluate and integrate innovative educational applications while designing AI and Large Language Model prototypes to enhance learning strategies and tackle specific challenges.
• Collaborate with leadership to refine tools, dashboards, and mastery assessment criteria as AI tutoring evolves.

Exclusions

• No involvement in prolonged meetings or generic presentations without measurable outcomes.
• Excludes routine tasks like grading, lesson planning, or administering standard educational programs since the approach is technology-driven.
• The role is hands-on, requiring active execution rather than solely high-level planning or monotonous repetition.

Qualifications and Experience

• Demonstrated experience in data science or related analytical/educational support roles involving both data analysis and interpersonal interaction.
• Proficiency in Google Sheets, including lookups, pivot tables, and data filtering.
• High emotional intelligence combined with excellent communication and student-centered coaching skills.
• Experience developing workflows and automations leveraging AI technologies.
• At least one year of direct experience working with students in kindergarten through 8th grade.
• Availability to work core hours from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM Central Time, Monday through Friday.

Preferred Qualifications

• Background in learning science or educational theories with proven success in applying data-driven techniques to improve learning outcomes.
• Knowledge of generative AI, prompting techniques, and basic programming skills (e.g., Python, JavaScript) to interact with AI APIs.

Additional Information and Terms

This is a full-time position requiring 40 hours weekly, offered on a long-term basis. The role is remote and begins immediately under an independent contractor agreement. Compensation is $30 USD per hour, totaling approximately $60,000 USD annually based on 40 hours across 50 weeks. Payments are made weekly. The role requires working core hours aligned with Central Time zones.
