This position focuses on government relations and mobility support for GE Vernova operations in Saudi Arabia. The selected professional will manage immigration, labor, licensing, and regulatory processes so employee movements and business activities remain compliant and efficient. The role involves regular coordination with public authorities and internal teams to make sure government transactions are completed accurately and on time.

Core responsibilities

  • Manage immigration-related workflows such as work permits, Iqama setup and renewals, sponsor transfers, job title amendments, and visa processing.
  • Oversee exit and re-entry visa cases, final exit formalities, dependent-related services, and passport record updates.
  • Assist with business visas, visitor visas, and employee mobilization requirements.
  • Help employees complete medical checks, biometrics, appointments, and other government-mandated steps.
  • Work across official platforms including Absher, Qiwa, Muqeem, GOSI, MOFA, MISA, MOC, Municipality, SPL, and National Address.
  • Support the renewal and upkeep of business licenses and permits such as CR, MISA, Municipality, Civil Defense, Chamber of Commerce, and similar approvals.
  • Keep employee files, visa trackers, and document repositories accurate and up to date.
  • Handle attestations, certificates of origin, and formal document submissions.
  • Liaise with HR, Legal, Finance, and Shared Services on matters linked to government compliance and transactions.
  • Monitor work performed by external immigration service vendors and follow up on pending cases.
  • Process government fee payments and assist Finance/Treasury with reconciliation.
  • Ensure adherence to Saudi labor regulations, Saudization requirements (Nitaqat), and internal policies.
  • Track violations, fines, and portal alerts, then drive timely resolution.
  • Support inspections, audits, and responses to queries from authorities.
  • Take on additional government relations tasks as required and contribute to operational improvement initiatives and assigned projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in a relevant discipline from a recognized institution, or a high school qualification backed by relevant work experience.
  • At least 5 years of hands-on experience in Saudi government relations, immigration, and labor procedures.
  • Practical familiarity with Absher, Qiwa, Muqeem, GOSI, MOFA, MISA, MOC, Municipality, and related government portals.
  • Background supporting visa processing and other government transactions.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities along with solid organizational skills.
  • Legal authorization to work in Saudi Arabia without employer sponsorship or time-based restriction.
  • Preferred background includes work with multinational organizations or multiple legal entities.
  • Prior coordination experience with third-party immigration vendors is an advantage.
