Role Overview

The Lead Developer will play a critical role in environment configuration, deployment automation, modernization of CI/CD workflows, infrastructure validation, and managing production transitions. This role demands both hands-on technical expertise and collaboration in supporting deployment strategies including Blue-Green deployment and production stabilization.

Key Responsibilities

• Establish and verify development and test environments to ensure readiness.
• Develop parallel deployment frameworks for improved redundancy.
• Revise and enhance CI/CD pipelines tailored to Ruby 3.3 and Rails versions 7 and 8.
• Support deployment activities leveraging AWS ECS and container technologies.
• Implement automation practices to streamline deployment cycles.
• Facilitate Blue-Green deployment tactics to minimize downtime.
• Assist with monitoring systems and prepare for operational continuity.
• Plan and oversee production cutover and rollback processes.
• Support hypercare phases and ensure production environment stability post-deployment.

Required Skills

• Proficient in AWS ECS services.
• Experienced with Docker containerization.
• Hands-on knowledge of CI/CD pipeline implementation.
• Familiar with GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or equivalent tools.
• Linux system administration skills.
• Fundamental understanding of AWS networking concepts.
• Competent in diagnosing and resolving infrastructure issues.

Preferred Skills

• Experience using Terraform and CloudFormation for infrastructure as code.
• Knowledge of AWS Lambda deployment.
• Familiarity with observability and monitoring tools.
• Practical experience with Blue-Green deployment methods.
