Lead Data Engineer

Role Overview

We are looking for a senior data engineering professional to lead the design and delivery of scalable Databricks Lakehouse environments. The role centers on building reliable ETL/ELT data flows, preparing platforms for GenAI use cases, improving performance and governance, mentoring engineers, and ensuring secure, high-quality data solutions that support analytics and AI initiatives.

Experience

This position requires more than 10 years of practical experience in data engineering, with a track record of leading enterprise-level data platform programs.

Eligibility

Applicants should hold a B.Tech / B.E. degree in one of the following: Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), Computer Science and Business System, Information Technology, or Electronics and Computer Engineering.

Key Focus Areas

• Architect and evolve Databricks Lakehouse solutions for enterprise use.
• Develop and maintain robust ETL/ELT pipelines for analytics and AI workloads.
• Support GenAI-ready data foundations, including modern data modeling and retrieval-oriented patterns.
• Improve governance, security, and performance across the data platform.
• Guide and mentor team members while driving delivery quality.

Additional Information

The compensation listed for this role is INR 32,50,000 to INR 37,50,000 per year.
