Laundry Supervisor (Tier 2)

About the role

Fluor is looking for a Laundry Supervisor to oversee laundry operations in the assigned area in Tamale. The position is focused on keeping services running smoothly, meeting production targets, and supporting a cooperative workplace that values practical problem-solving and teamwork.

What you will do

• Lead and coordinate the work of laundry staff across one or more laundry facilities within the assigned area.
• Support the Laundry Manager and step in to handle duties normally carried out by team members when needed.
• Make sure output targets are achieved and introduce process adjustments when required.
• Carry out laundry tasks such as washing, drying, sorting, transporting, folding, and handling clothing, towels, and similar items.
• Provide customer-facing support when accepting, recording, and returning laundry items for project personnel.
• Keep accurate control over laundry items throughout the process.
• Clean equipment and perform minor maintenance as necessary.
• Take on other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED, or an equivalent mix of education and experience, along with 4 to 7 years of relevant experience. The role also calls for strong computer skills, including the use of email, Microsoft Office, or other job-related software. For safety, health, and security compliance, candidates must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English at an intermediate level.
