Role summary

The Land Sport Animator will lead and support recreation activities for adults in a resort setting. The role involves organizing engaging programs, ensuring participant safety, assisting with setup and wrap-up, and contributing ideas to strengthen the resort’s entertainment offering.

Key responsibilities

• Run both small and large group activities on your own or together with other resort activity animators in an adult-focused environment.
• Prepare activity areas before sessions begin and complete the required tasks during and after each program ends.
• Monitor and engage adult guests taking part in activities while maintaining a safe and enjoyable atmosphere for all age groups.
• Share fresh ideas for new activities and help improve future resort recreation programs and related offerings.
• Handle additional assignments given by the Entertainment Manager or the executive leadership team.
• Take on any other duties connected to the role as required.

Requirements

• Valid Standard First Aid certification with CPR.
• At least 1 year of recent experience in a busy, fast-moving recreation environment serving adults.
• Friendly, energetic, polished, and professional demeanor.
• Strong verbal communication abilities; knowledge of another foreign language, especially Russian, is an advantage.
• Comfortable working under pressure in a high-paced setting.
• Flexible approach to work and a strong team-oriented mindset.
• Background in leading or hosting games, crafts, group activities, and interactive entertainment.
• Physically capable of conducting activities in all weather conditions, including walking, sports, and water sports.

Additional information

This position is based in Ras Al Khaimah, Ras al-Khaimah, United Arab Emirates. It is a full-time onsite role.
