Laboratory Technician

Role Overview

The Laboratory Technician is responsible for conducting various experiments including color matching, product enhancement, raw material assessment, and cost reduction. They also prepare powder samples for customer line trials and ensure that laboratory equipment is well-maintained and functioning correctly. Additionally, they organize the workspace and maintain the shade panel library, making sure color panels are sent promptly to customers or sales teams.

Key Duties

• Execute experiments as designed by the Laboratory Manager or Chemist to develop or match colors requested by the sales team.
• Manage and maintain the shade panel library to ensure the availability of color samples.
• Produce bulk laboratory samples efficiently.
• Keep the laboratory area clean, well-organized, and safe.

Skills and Expertise

• Knowledge of powder chemistry.
• Competent in operating various laboratory equipment with adherence to safety standards.
• Proficient in written and spoken English.
• Capable of working effectively in a team setting.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented.
