Job Overview

This position is for a Kitchen Helper role requiring hands-on involvement at the physical workspace. Candidates must be proficient in English and have completed secondary (high) school education. The role demands between 1 to 2 years of prior experience.

Primary Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize dishwasher mats, carts, and waste disposal units.
• Operate dishwashers to clean dishes, glassware, and flatware efficiently.
• Store cleaned dishes properly in designated storage areas.
• Manually wash and sanitize dishes and kitchen utensils.
• Prepare, heat, and complete simple food items as required.
• Maintain stock levels of refrigerators and salad bars by restocking.
• Use manual and electric kitchen equipment to clean, peel, slice, and trim foodstuffs.
• Thoroughly clean and sanitize kitchen surfaces, cupboards, storage spaces, appliances, and equipment.
• Handle and store cleaning chemicals safely.
• Receive, unpack, and properly store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage locations.
• Manage kitchen waste removal effectively.
• Clean floors by sweeping, mopping, washing, and polishing.
• Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruits as required for kitchen needs.
