Job description
Role Overview
The Key Strategic Account Quality Lead is tasked with fostering and enhancing relationships with Vertiv's most critical clients. The role ensures customer satisfaction and promotes the sustained success of these accounts by overseeing performance and resolving complex issues related to Vertiv's solutions on customer sites, driving value and revenue growth.
Primary Responsibilities
- Oversee daily issues connected to key strategic account projects, managing related non-conformance tracking tools.
- Ensure timely resolution of bugs on a daily basis.
- Perform root cause analyses (RCA) on identified issues using the 8D methodology.
- Provide daily reports on quality performance pertinent to key strategic projects.
- Assist plant quality managers in executing RCA via the 8D method for strategic accounts.
- Coordinate Vertiv's internal teams to efficiently address issues impacting top strategic accounts.
- Lead investigation into root causes and spearhead continuous improvement initiatives alongside the global quality BU team.
- Collaborate on critical escalations alongside technical support and engineering.
- Engage deeply with customer experience and services teams to analyze failure modes such as startup, commissioning, and transportation, defining containment and improvement measures.
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of data entered in complaint management systems aligns with actual circumstances.
- Drive identification and implementation of corrective and preventive actions by analyzing failures affecting key accounts.
- Maintain close collaboration with plant quality to support smooth product release transitions, representing client interests.
- Work closely with Engineering, Service, Manufacturing, and Product Management to enhance product and service quality.
- Ensure effective communication and collaboration with Supplier Quality as needed.
- Perform any other job-related duties assigned.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related discipline, or a minimum of four years of direct experience in quality assurance; combinations of education and experience are considered.
- Proficiency with word processing, relational databases, data analysis tools, spreadsheets, planning software, and desktop publishing applications.
- Solid understanding and application of various data analysis and problem-solving techniques.
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities, including delivering presentations to diverse audiences within the company.
- Familiarity with relevant quality standards and business models such as ISO 9000.
Additional Information
- Travel requirements estimated at 15-20% of the time.
