Role Responsibilities
- Exemplify kindness and authenticity, promoting a safe and welcoming atmosphere.
- Deliver excellent customer service by tailoring product recommendations that meet individual needs.
- Collaborate with team members to uphold FOUR20’s culture while maintaining a secure and inclusive space for customers and staff.
- Manage sales transactions and POS operations, including sales, voids, discounts, and promotions using Lightspeed POS.
- Handle store opening and closing duties responsibly.
- Address unexpected situations with flexibility, resolving challenges promptly and professionally.
- Maintain an inquisitive approach toward ongoing product knowledge, including cannabis strains, categories, and accessories.
- Conduct accurate inventory tracking and reporting.
- Comply fully with all regulatory requirements, company policies, and procedures.
- Capably work independently when necessary.
- Perform merchandising and stock replenishment to ensure product availability.
- Utilize our comprehensive in-house cannabis and sales education programs to enhance expertise.
Essential Requirements
- Must be of legal age and possess the required provincial cannabis retail license (Cannsell in Ontario or Sellsafe in Alberta).
- Prior experience in retail and customer service environments.
- Proficiency using POS systems.
- Effective time management skills to juggle and prioritize various tasks.
- A keen willingness to learn and develop professionally.
- Availability to work across multiple locations preferred for increased shifts and growth opportunities.
- Flexible work schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Physical capability to stand for extended periods and handle lifting up to 25 pounds.
