Role overview
The team is hiring a (Junior) Research Executive for the DACH region to support market research operations, data handling, and insight generation. The position sits within the Research Team and focuses on delivering projects smoothly from questionnaire setup through to fieldwork monitoring and final execution.
You will work alongside Research Consultants and help turn research briefs into well-structured surveys, maintain data quality, and support the delivery of reliable client insights. The role also includes close collaboration with account management, research consulting, and product teams.
Key responsibilities
- Run the operational side of market research projects, including survey programming, testing, and live monitoring.
- Build questionnaires and configure fieldwork in the Appinio platform while maintaining accuracy and strong data quality.
- Adapt and test surveys for different research formats such as U&A, tracking, concept testing, creative testing, MaxDiff, and Conjoint.
- Track survey performance during fieldwork and quickly troubleshoot issues when they arise.
- Support Research Consultants with analysis and reporting as needed.
- Work with Account Management and Research Consulting to ensure smooth project transfer and execution.
- Keep a strong eye on detail throughout every stage of the project to ensure dependable delivery.
- Help integrate AI into research workflows and partner with the Product team to strengthen AI functionality.
Requirements
- A degree in psychology, business administration, market research, statistics, or another data-oriented field.
- At least 1 to 2 years of professional experience in market research.
- A careful, detail-focused working style and comfort with data, tools, and structured processes.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to juggle several tasks at once in a fast-paced setting.
- Good command of Excel and PowerPoint, or equivalent software.
- Clear communication skills and an ability to work well with different teams.
- Fluency in English and German at C2 level, both spoken and written.
- A proactive, hands-on, and pragmatic approach with a strong sense of ownership.
- Comfort with numbers, data, and analytical thinking.
Additional details
This is a fully remote position. Candidates based in Germany are preferred, and applicants in the UK, Portugal, the Netherlands, and Spain are also ideally considered.
The role reports directly to one of the Team Leads in Research Consulting DACH.
