Role Overview
We are seeking a Junior Performance Analyst to join the New York office, responsible for calculating and reporting performance on all client portfolios managed by BNP Paribas Asset Management US. This role involves generating portfolio-level performance figures for Portfolio Manager review and approval.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and disseminate performance results to senior leadership.
- Collaborate with custodians, trustees, and portfolio managers to reconcile market value differences, ensuring discrepancies remain within 20 basis points of portfolio net asset values.
- Verify mandate accounting and monthly performance data.
- Conduct market value reconciliation analyses as needed.
- Investigate and rectify any outstanding account variances.
- Create standard and bespoke reports for external parties upon request.
- Review and supervise accounting system adjustments and corrections.
- Engage in special projects as assigned.
Required Experience and Education
- At least 3 years of professional experience in Fixed Income Operations or Middle Office.
- Strong expertise in fixed income securities, foreign exchange, and fixed income derivatives.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and Visual Basic.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field with excellent academic achievements.

The salary range for this role in New York City is approximately $75,000 to $85,000 annually, with actual compensation depending on experience, skills, and other factors.
