Junior IT System Manager

Job Overview

We are looking for a Junior IT System Manager based in Bandra West, Mumbai to manage daily IT operations and support the company's IT infrastructure. The position requires a proactive individual with hands-on experience in system administration, troubleshooting, and general IT support.

Key Duties

• Oversee and support daily IT functions throughout the organization
• Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and network components
• Resolve hardware and software problems promptly
• Manage office IT assets including desktops, laptops, printers, and network devices
• Ensure reliable internet connections and maintain routers and servers
• Provide technical assistance to employees with IT-related questions or issues
• Assist with software updates, installations, and system upgrades
• Keep an accurate IT inventory and maintain detailed documentation of assets
• Implement data backup procedures and uphold basic security measures
• Liaise with external vendors for IT support as necessary

Candidate Profile

• Graduate degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related discipline
• 1 to 2 years of experience in IT support or system administration
• Fundamental understanding of networking, hardware components, and operating systems
• Strong analytical skills for troubleshooting and problem solving
• Effective communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to handle work in a dynamic and fast-paced setting
