Description de l'emploi

Overview

We are looking for a Junior Human Resources Manager to join our team on a 12-month fixed-term contract through an agency. This role is based in our Munich office and reports directly to the Senior Director HR Germany & Austria. Join us at Incyte, where our employees are central to our mission as we expand our teams across Germany and Austria.

Role Description

As a Junior HR Manager, you will be critical in delivering an excellent employee experience by managing HR processes and ensuring seamless daily HR operations within a dynamic international setting. If you are proactive, enjoy collaborating closely with colleagues, and are eager to take ownership in a supportive HR environment, we'd love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage local HR administrative tasks independently for Germany and Austria, covering the whole employee lifecycle from onboarding to offboarding.
  • Serve as the initial point of contact for employees regarding HR administrative inquiries.
  • Prepare and oversee works council hearings in line with labor laws and co-determination regulations.
  • Coordinate and continuously improve onboarding processes locally.
  • Create employment contracts, contract amendments, and reference letters.
  • Support the roll-out of national and international HR projects.
  • Contribute to change management and organizational development activities.
  • Assist with local recruitment activities, including scheduling interviews and communicating with candidates during hiring.
  • Analyze, design, and implement efficient local HR workflows, particularly for outsourcing administrative tasks.
  • Collaborate with and manage relationships with external service providers.
  • Prepare HR analytics, reports, and key performance metrics.

Candidate Profile

  • Completed university degree or equivalent vocational training, preferably focused on Human Resources.
  • Some relevant experience in an HR role, ideally in a mid-sized company setting.
  • Strong foundational knowledge of HR administration.
  • Basic understanding of labor law and works council regulations is advantageous.
  • Initial exposure to working with works councils.
  • Experience in recruitment and applicant management.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to work independently with a structured approach.
  • Strong communication abilities and professional demeanor.
  • A customer-service mindset with a proactive and practical approach.
  • Proficiency in MS Office; experience with HR software systems such as PeopleSoft or Workday is a bonus.
  • Fluency in both German and English, in spoken and written forms.
