Role Overview

The Junior Grant and Funding Specialist position is a full-time, onsite opportunity located in Panaji, Goa. The specialist will be responsible for identifying and researching funding and grant opportunities from government and private organizations that align with the company's climate tech initiatives. Key tasks involve assisting in grant proposal preparation, drafting narratives, compiling necessary documentation, and supporting budget estimations.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze eligibility criteria and stay updated on application deadlines.
• Maintain a comprehensive database of available funding sources.
• Collaborate with internal teams to collect technical details and project information.
• Support post-award activities including reporting and financial tracking of funded projects.
• Communicate clearly with stakeholders about application statuses and requirements.

• Effective proposal writing skills to develop compelling grant applications and related documents.
• Clear and collaborative communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Basic budgeting skills to assist with project budget creation and financial summaries.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Public Administration, Engineering, or a related discipline is advantageous.
• Knowledge of grant management procedures, documentation norms, and fundamental project management tools is beneficial.
