Position Overview
LifeStyles Healthcare is seeking a Junior Demand Planner to join the ANZ supply chain team based in Melbourne. This role is designed for candidates with 0 to 4 years of experience who are eager to contribute in a fast-moving, dynamic environment, managing demand planning for the sexual wellness product portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the demand planning process for select SKUs and customer channels across Australia and New Zealand.
- Lead monthly forecasting activities, integrating inputs from Sales, Marketing, and Finance divisions.
- Analyze demand signals against actual outcomes, communicate discrepancies, and propose corrective measures.
- Collaborate with Supply and Inventory teams to maintain product availability and optimize inventory levels.
- Track and enhance forecast accuracy KPIs.
- Incorporate trends, promotions, seasonality, and new product launches into demand planning.
- Support Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) by providing timely and data-driven forecast insights.
- Work closely with commercial teams on customer and retailer planning strategies.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives concerning planning tools and reporting processes.
- Utilize AI technologies such as Claude, ChatGPT, or Copilot for enhanced data analysis, reporting automation, and forecast variance investigations.
Daily Duties
- Produce weekly and monthly forecasting reports.
- Interpret historical sales, POS, and promotional data to anticipate demand accurately.
- Engage cross-functional stakeholders to harmonize planning assumptions and ensure accountability.
- Identify potential risks and opportunities for optimal inventory and supply adjustments.
- Conduct system maintenance including data cleansing and optimization of planning configurations.
- Lead forecasting efforts for specific product categories or customer sectors.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Economics, or related disciplines.
- Between zero and four years of experience in demand planning, ideally within CPG, FMCG, or consumer healthcare sectors.
- Strong analytical abilities with keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency in planning software and ERP tools like NetSuite, SAP, Anaplan, and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent communication skills and capability to collaborate across different functions.
- Comfort working in a lean, hands-on environment with evolving priorities.
- Experience leveraging AI tools for data analysis and automation preferred.
- Knowledge in sexual wellness or personal care product categories is a plus.
- Familiarity with POS data analytics and retailer-focused forecasting methodologies.
- Understanding of Integrated Business Planning and S&OP concepts beneficial.
- Entrepreneurial mindset and proactive work ethic.
Additional Information
This role reports to the Global Head of Supply and Demand Planning within the Supply Chain department. The annual salary range offered is AUD 84,000 to AUD 103,000. The position is based onsite in Melbourne, Australia.
