Role summary

This is a full-time, office-based Junior Civil Drafter position in Brendale. The role involves preparing accurate technical and engineering drawings to support civil design work across a range of projects. You will use AutoCAD to produce detailed plans and layouts that align with project requirements and relevant local regulations, while working closely with engineers, project managers, and other colleagues.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare clear, accurate civil engineering drawings and technical documentation.
• Assist with drafting work that supports the broader design process on civil projects.
• Use AutoCAD to develop plans, layouts, and other project drawings.
• Make sure drawings align with project specifications and applicable local requirements.
• Coordinate with engineers, project managers, and other team members during project delivery.

Qualifications and requirements

• Solid capability in civil drafting and technical drawing.
• Hands-on experience supporting civil design and producing engineering drawings.
• Confidence using CAD software and related design tools.
• Strong accuracy and attention to detail when preparing drawings.
• Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work well in a team.
• Awareness of local construction standards and regulations is advantageous.
• Comfortable using Word and Excel.
• Associate Degree in Civil Engineering.
• At least 1 year of experience, or a recent graduate who can demonstrate strong ability.
• Experience with 12D is an added advantage.
• Applicants are preferred if they live close to the Brendale office for work-life balance and commuting practicality.
