Job description
Role Overview and Responsibilities
The Junior Accountant will be responsible for managing daily accounting transactions, including preparing invoices and payment entries. The role involves reconciling bank accounts and supplier statements, supporting accounts payable and receivable functions, and maintaining organized financial records. Assisting with monthly closing procedures and aiding in VAT and ZATCA compliance efforts are key aspects of this position. Additionally, the Junior Accountant will prepare basic financial reports and liaise with auditors when necessary.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Possess a bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Have 1 to 3 years of hands-on accounting experience
- Demonstrate prior experience within the Saudi Arabian market
- Understand fundamental Saudi VAT regulations and ZATCA compliance
- Familiar with ERP or accounting software systems
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Strong command of English language
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational capabilities
