Job Overview
We are looking for a proficient Java Spring Boot Developer to architect, implement, and uphold scalable enterprise-grade applications. The candidate should possess solid experience with Java, Spring Boot, microservices architecture, RESTful API development, and database management. The role demands collaboration with various teams to deliver robust software.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy applications using Java and the Spring Boot framework.
- Build and sustain applications oriented around microservices.
- Create RESTful APIs and integrate external services.
- Produce clean, maintainable, and efficient code following established standards.
- Enhance application performance, ensure scalability, and enforce security measures.
- Coordinate with Business Analysts, Quality Assurance, and DevOps teams.
- Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve issues occurring in production environments.
- Engage in code reviews and participate in technical discussions.
- Prepare technical documentation and uphold development best practices.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Proficient experience with Java versions 8, 11, 17, or newer.
- Practical knowledge of Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA, and Spring Security.
- Hands-on experience with microservices architecture.
- Expertise in designing and integrating RESTful APIs.
- Familiarity with Hibernate/JPA ORM frameworks.
- Strong command over SQL and experience with databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, or SQL Server.
- Experience using Git version control systems.
- Understanding of Maven or Gradle for build automation.
- Unit testing skills using JUnit and Mockito.
- Working knowledge of Docker and containerization technologies.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with messaging systems such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or ActiveMQ.
- Exposure to cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Understanding of CI/CD processes and tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes container orchestration.
- Familiarity with Agile and Scrum development methodologies.
Education
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related disciplines.
