Role overview
This is a remote, entry-level part-time position for an IT Support Analyst based in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. The role is centered on assisting internal teams and end-users with day-to-day technology needs, resolving technical problems, and helping keep desktop systems running smoothly. A strong service mindset, clear communication, and a proactive approach to solving issues are important for success in this position.
Key duties
- Provide technical assistance and respond to user issues in a timely, effective way.
- Support help desk activities and help track down the root cause of technical problems.
- Carry out troubleshooting across different systems and platforms.
- Maintain desktop computers, including routine upkeep and software setup.
- Work with internal users and teams remotely to deliver a smooth technology experience.
- Handle several tasks at once and set priorities appropriately in a remote work setting.
Required background
- Hands-on knowledge of technical support and help desk processes.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Familiarity with desktop computers, including basic maintenance and software installation.
- Basic understanding of information technology concepts and systems.
- Good communication and customer service skills for remote user support.
- Ability to stay organized and manage competing priorities independently.
