Role Overview

The IT Graduate position is a 12-month full-time contract based onsite at the firm's Dublin office. Reporting to the Head of IT Operations, this role offers a comprehensive exposure to enterprise IT operations including AV/VC, infrastructure, security, and service management. It aims to develop your technical and analytical skills alongside customer service expertise within a professional services environment, supported by an experienced IT team.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver first-line support for Audio Visual and Unified Communications technologies ensuring minimal disruption during client and internal meetings.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot AV equipment such as Microsoft Teams Rooms, video conferencing setups, digital signage, audio systems, display screens, and projectors.
  • Assist with user guides, training materials, and AV asset documentation.
  • Provide first and second-line IT service desk support for hardware, software, and business applications, including incident logging and escalation.
  • Support infrastructure and cloud services including Microsoft 365 suite, Windows Server, Active Directory, network services, and cloud platform maintenance.
  • Assist with IT security operations such as monitoring, incident investigation, vulnerability patching, and promoting security best practices.
  • Identify and implement automation opportunities using PowerShell and participate in continuous improvement aligned with ITIL methodologies.
  • Contribute to IT projects including testing, implementation, and documentation while collaborating with stakeholders and vendors.

Eligibility and Skills Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
  • Prior practical experience with Audio Visual technologies and Microsoft technology stack in a corporate or professional setting.
  • Strong enthusiasm for Audio Visual and collaboration tools.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Windows 11, Microsoft 365, Intune, SharePoint Online, Active Directory, and Microsoft Entra ID is advantageous.
  • Understanding of fundamental networking concepts like TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and Wi-Fi.
  • Basic knowledge of cybersecurity principles.
  • Experience with PowerShell scripting to facilitate automation.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Preferred experience includes Microsoft Teams Rooms support and familiarity with Crestron, Logitech, Poly, or Cisco systems and digital signage.
  • Understanding of IT Service Management (ITIL) principles is a plus.
