About the Role
A distinguished boutique advisory firm that offers services to hedge funds, family offices, and private credit managers is looking for an Operations Analyst to join its expanding New York City team. This position presents a valuable chance for professionals aiming to interact with a range of sophisticated investment managers while collaborating closely with seasoned industry experts.
Location and Work Arrangement
This role is based in Midtown New York City with a hybrid schedule requiring two days in the office and three days working remotely.
Compensation and Growth
The base salary ranges between $110,000 and $140,000 annually with an additional bonus opportunity of approximately 20%. There are significant opportunities for career progression in this rapidly growing organization.
Candidate Profile
- Applicants should have three to six years of experience in hedge fund trade operations or middle office roles.
- Preference is given to candidates with a background directly in hedge funds, especially those focused on public markets and equities.
- Experience in credit markets is considered advantageous.
- Candidates with fund administration or prime brokerage expertise will also be evaluated.
- The ideal candidate is client-service oriented, detail-driven, and excels in fast-paced settings.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide trade support across diverse asset classes, including equities, options, futures, swaps, foreign exchange, commodities, and credit products.
- Perform daily reconciliations of cash, positions, and transactions.
- Manage corporate actions processing.
- Handle relationships with prime brokers, administrators, and vendors.
- Prepare cash and leverage reports.
- Support regulatory filings such as ADV, PF, and 13F documents.
- Lead initiatives for process improvements and enhancing operational efficiency.
