Investment Associate, Growth Private Equity

Role overview

We are partnering with a leading Australian growth investor to recruit an Investment Associate for its established private equity team in Sydney. The business backs scaling companies and works in close collaboration with management teams to drive growth across healthcare businesses in Australia and New Zealand. The team also concentrates on building value across its portfolio while continuing to source attractive new investment opportunities.

What you will do

In this role, you will contribute across the full private equity investment lifecycle. Your work will include assessing new opportunities, carrying out financial and commercial due diligence, supporting transaction execution, and working alongside portfolio companies as they pursue growth plans. Where needed, you will also help evaluate and support bolt-on acquisitions.

What makes you a strong fit

The ideal candidate will bring 2 to 4 years of experience from strategy or management consulting, corporate advisory, or another private capital investment role. A genuine interest in investing and a strong curiosity about the healthcare sector are important. You should be comfortable building trusted relationships with management teams and external service providers, and you will be expected to demonstrate empathy, professionalism, and humility.
