About ASMO
ASMO is an innovative joint venture formed by DHL and Aramco, combining DHL's expertise in logistics with Aramco's extensive supply chain network. The company aims to revolutionize procurement and supply chain operations, supporting growth in various industries including industrial, energy, chemical, and petrochemical sectors. Initially focused on Saudi Aramco and its affiliates, ASMO plans to expand to cover all industrial sectors across Saudi Arabia and the MENA region.
Role Objective
The Investment Analyst will evaluate company investments in assets and long-term leases by assessing their economic viability, financial impacts, and associated risks. Key responsibilities include preparing comprehensive Business Case Assessments, collaborating with stakeholders, and presenting findings to approval authorities for informed decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop detailed Business Case Assessment packages for capital expenditure and long-term leases, including project description, financial indicators, risk analysis, and buy-versus-lease evaluations.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to review data inputs, underlying assumptions, and finalize investment recommendations.
- Present Business Case Assessments to appropriate decision-makers, including the Executive Committee and Board of Directors, when necessary.
- Provide support on investment and commercial control issues to colleagues.
- Maintain secure and confidential archives of all Business Case Assessment documents and related approvals.
- Effectively communicate with colleagues and stakeholders to ensure clarity and alignment.
- Identify opportunities to improve systems, processes, and practices to enhance productivity and operational efficiency.
- Adhere to all departmental policies and procedures to ensure consistent and controlled workflows.
- Prepare timely, accurate documentation and reports to satisfy departmental standards and requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or equivalent from an accredited institution.
- Professional certifications such as CFA, CISI, or ACCA are preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- A minimum of five years' experience in a related field.
