Investment Analyst

Role overview

FIDIC is looking for a part-time remote Investment Analyst to help evaluate the financial and investment dimensions of consulting, engineering, and contract-driven projects. In this role, you will research market and financial information, assess opportunities, and review the balance of risk and return so that recommendations support FIDIC’s wider strategic goals.

What you will do

You will build and improve investment approaches, prepare short reports and presentations, and share practical recommendations that contribute to sustainable project funding and long-term value. The role also includes following market movements, examining financial information, coordinating with internal teams, and turning investment findings into clear, dependable, and useful input for decision-making.

Qualifications

The position calls for strong analytical ability and comfort working with detailed financial and project-related information. Candidates should understand investment principles, portfolio review, and risk analysis, and ideally have experience applying finance and investment methods in infrastructure, engineering, or consulting settings.

An educational foundation in Finance, Economics, Business, or a similar discipline is preferred, and a professional credential such as CFA would be considered an advantage. You should also be proficient in financial modelling and analytical tools such as Excel or comparable platforms, communicate effectively in writing and speaking, and be able to work independently in a remote, part-time arrangement while meeting deadlines. Interest in global infrastructure, construction, or engineering work, especially contract-based projects, will be helpful.
