Role Overview
We are looking for an International Wholesale Operations Assistant to support our operations team. This role involves managing order processes, coordinating logistics, and supporting seasonal market activities for international wholesale accounts.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the entire order cycle for international wholesale accounts, from order input to delivery tracking and reconciliation.
- Verify accuracy of post-market orders, monitor shipments, and provide Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) support.
- Communicate regularly with international wholesale clients regarding order statuses, shipping schedules, and product availability.
- Coordinate with internal logistics to ensure all shipping documentation is complete, credit approval is in place, and orders are dispatched on time.
- Collaborate with production and planning teams to forecast monthly shipments and track progress against goals.
- Support seasonal market activities including preparation of line sheets, recording orders, and assisting with order confirmations.
- Manage sample distribution for wholesale partners and assist with logistics for European markets, including payment handling and coordination of helpers, models, showroom setup, and sample shipments.
- Maintain weekly and monthly flash reports, conduct ad-hoc reporting, and support account reconciliations and credit notes when necessary.
- Provide administrative assistance to the International Sales Team for all account-related tasks.
- Work closely with planning, order entry, credit, and merchandising teams as key internal collaborators.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- Proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint.
- 1 to 2 years of relevant internship or work experience in the fashion or retail sector preferred.
- Strong organizational capabilities and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to manage time effectively and work accurately in a detail-focused environment.
Compensation and Equal Opportunity
The salary for this position ranges between $53,000 and $57,000 annually, with the exact offer depending on experience, education, skills, and location.
