About the Role

This full-time position at IKEA is available immediately and is contracted through March 8, 2027. It involves an average workweek of 37.5 hours, distributed across five days from Monday to Saturday with early, mid, and late shifts. The role focuses on leading a team to showcase the IKEA product range in an engaging and market-appropriate manner, delivering complete and functional interior solutions that cater to the preferences of the local clientele.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop your team to ensure the IKEA product assortment is presented attractively and tailored to local market needs.
• Oversee visual merchandising throughout the store aligning with IKEA's identity and concept requirements.
• Continuously expand knowledge of local housing and living habits, as well as monitor competitor activities.
• Create and manage action plans, resource allocation, schedules, and budget control efficiently.
• Be a role model of IKEA's values; inspire your team with enthusiasm and foster their growth.

Candidate Profile

• You hold a degree or relevant training focused on interior architecture, paired with prior professional experience.
• You are eager to take on a leadership role and advance your team's capabilities.
• Strong organizational skills with a customer and solution-oriented mindset; confident handling common graphic software such as Revit and MS Office.
• Clear and assertive communication skills in both German and English.
