As an Integrity Officer, you will play a vital role in enhancing GHD's culture centered on integrity, ethical behavior, and accountability. Your responsibilities include offering sound ethical advice, promoting transparency in decision-making, and identifying and managing risks related to integrity across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and ongoing enhancement of integrity policies and related initiatives.
- Produce clear, insightful reports on integrity risks and program performance for executive leadership and audit committees.
- Offer expert guidance on identifying, disclosing, and managing conflicts of interest.
- Encourage ethical decision-making and ensure responsible handling of information.
- Conduct investigations and interviews, ensuring consistent, timely resolutions and necessary corrective actions.
- Provide integrity training and focused learning opportunities for high-risk departments.
- Enhance integrity frameworks, processes, and governance risk and compliance (GRC) tools.
- Develop trusted partnerships with Legal, Risk, HR, and business leaders.
- Lead and mentor a small team to deliver high-quality integrity outcomes.
Candidate Profile
- Possess tertiary qualifications in Law, Business, Governance, or similar fields.
- Proven experience in roles involving integrity, compliance, legal, or risk management.
- Thorough understanding of ethical standards, governance structures, and regulatory frameworks.
- Strong analytical, investigative, and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to influence and foster trust.
- Ability to handle sensitive situations with tact and maintain confidentiality.
- Familiarity with case management and compliance systems is a plus.
Additional Information
This is a dynamic role suitable for someone detail-oriented and able to handle multiple projects concurrently. The position can be based in either Australia or New Zealand, depending on the candidate's residence.
