Description de l'emploi
Role Overview
We seek a dynamic institutional sales expert to spearhead client acquisition targets across Singapore, Hong Kong, and Western territories. Collaborating closely with our research team based in Shanghai, you will deliver China-focused commodity and macroeconomic insights to hedge funds, commodity traders, and investment banks. This quota-driven position demands resilience through extended sales cycles and aptitude for leveraging AI-enhanced processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the complete sales pipeline starting from initial outreach to contract closure.
- Achieve new client onboarding targets within the first year and sustain renewal rates on existing accounts.
- Utilize AI-driven solutions to upscale prospecting activities, including automation of outreach and personalized communication.
- Convert analytical research into compelling sales presentations and summarize analyst insights for client engagement via webinars and individual meetings.
- Conduct one to two webinars monthly with Shanghai analysts and convert attendees into customers.
- Participate in one to two industry events monthly to enhance relationship building.
- Ensure accurate CRM management with weekly updates on sales pipeline status.
Candidate Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required; proven sales performance is prioritized over academic excellence.
- Between one and three years of experience in institutional sales with a minimum of three successfully closed deals related to commodity or financial research products.
- Demonstrated practical experience with AI tools across prospecting, email outreach, and content creation, with a mandatory workflow demonstration during the hiring process.
- Fluent business-level English and Mandarin proficiency. Eligible to work in Singapore as PR or Employment Pass holder.
- Prefer candidates with pre-existing connections in commodity trading, hedge funds, or sell-side research within the Singapore or Hong Kong markets.
- Ability to sustain high-volume outreach efforts and tolerate lengthy sales negotiations.
- Proactive engagement in client-facing events and physical meetings.
- Adaptable to a collaborative environment blending teams in Singapore and Shanghai.
Onboarding Expectations
- Within the first month, identify over 30 qualified prospects and complete product training.
- By the second month, cultivate at least five active trials or conversations.
- In the third month, secure a closed deal or advance three negotiations to advanced stages.
