About Emirates Drug Establishment
Emirates Drug Establishment (EDE) is currently seeking qualified candidates for multiple inspector roles based in the UAE.
Available Positions
- One Agricultural Inspector with a background in Agricultural Engineering or a relevant agricultural field
- One Veterinary Inspector with expertise in Veterinary Medicine or a related veterinary discipline
- One Pharmaceutical Inspector located in Abu Dhabi
- Two Pharmaceutical Inspectors for Dubai and the Northern Emirates
Candidate Eligibility
Applicants ranging from fresh graduates to experienced professionals with relevant academic credentials are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform thorough inspections of regulated facilities including manufacturers, warehouses, suppliers, and distribution points.
- Ensure adherence to applicable laws, regulations, standards, and approved procedures.
- Examine licensing records, storage environments, manufacturing workflows, and distribution methods.
- Detect any breaches and propose corrective as well as preventive measures.
- Draft detailed inspection reports and manage follow-ups for compliance.
- Collaborate with laboratories, regulatory bodies, and technical departments as needed.
- Specifically for the Veterinary Inspector: assist in inspecting veterinary medicines, vaccines, product sampling, storage oversight, and validating Good Manufacturing Practices.
