Innovation Consultant

Role Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Innovation Consultant to spearhead innovation-driven initiatives throughout the organization in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting design thinking workshops, uncovering business opportunities, and collaborating with cross-disciplinary teams to craft innovative digital solutions including prototypes and proof-of-concepts (POCs).

Key Responsibilities

• Organize and lead workshops based on design thinking methods to stimulate innovation and ideation.
• Collaborate closely with business units and technical teams to identify avenues for innovation.
• Create, test, and refine digital prototypes and POCs to validate ideas and solutions.
• Conduct brainstorming sessions that encourage creative problem solving among teams.
• Stay updated on market trends, emerging technologies, and industry-leading practices to inform innovation strategies.
• Work with internal stakeholders to convert business challenges into actionable innovative solutions.
• Advocate and nurture a culture prioritizing innovation, teamwork, and ongoing improvement.
• Compile and deliver presentations, analytical reports, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership.

Qualifications & Experience

• A Bachelor's degree in Innovation Management, Design Thinking, Business Administration, or a related discipline is required.
• At least five years of professional experience in innovation consulting, design thinking, digital transformation, or a similar capacity.
• Proficient knowledge of Design Thinking, Lean Startup methodologies, and other innovation frameworks.
• Proven ability to facilitate workshops and oversee innovation initiatives.
• Strong skills in communication, presentation, and managing relationships with stakeholders.
• Exceptional analytical capabilities and adeptness at solving complex problems.
• Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams in dynamic environments.
