Role overview

The Infection Control Nurse will be responsible for supporting the hospital’s infection prevention efforts by creating procedures, monitoring risks, and educating staff, patients, and families.

Key responsibilities

• Create and roll out infection prevention policies and operating procedures.
• Review the facility on a regular basis to spot infection hazards and reduce them.
• Train staff members on infection control methods and required protocols.
• Track infection cases and analyze emerging patterns or trends.
• Look into any infection-related complaints or incidents and take appropriate action.
• Work alongside doctors and other healthcare professionals to build and execute infection control initiatives.
• Keep current with updated infection control standards, practices, and regulations.
• Guide patients and their families on how to prevent and control infections.

Preferred profile

The ideal candidate should have a B.Sc. in Nursing from a recognized institute, an ICN certificate, and prior relevant experience in a reputed hospital.
