Hygiene Officer

About the Role

The Hyatt Regency Pune is seeking a Hygiene Officer to ensure the efficient operation of their departments, aligning with Hyatt International's Corporate Strategies and brand standards. This role is crucial in maintaining high hygiene standards across the organization, supporting the Executive Chef in these efforts and ensuring guest and employee satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining and enforcing hygiene standards throughout the establishment.
• Support the Executive Chef in all hygiene-related operations.
• Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations.
• Monitor and report on the cleanliness and sanitation of all food and beverage areas.
• Implement and oversee training programs related to hygiene for staff.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify areas for improvement.
• Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment.

Requirements

• A minimum of two years of experience in a similar role as a Hygiene Officer.
• Experience within a hotel or a large restaurant setting with high standards is preferred.
• Previous experience with luxury international brands is advantageous.
• Possession of comprehensive knowledge of kitchen hygiene practices.
• Strong understanding of occupational health and safety standards.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Familiarity with Recipe Maintenance Systems is a plus.
