Role Overview
The position of Human Resources Specialist is a full-time, onsite opportunity based on the Gold Coast. The successful candidate will oversee employee lifecycle management and daily HR functions. Key responsibilities encompass managing recruitment, onboarding and offboarding staff, assisting in workforce planning to fulfill staffing requirements, administering employee benefits, organizing performance evaluations, maintaining precise HR records, and supporting management with personnel issues. This specialist will also participate in formulating and executing HR policies, ensuring adherence to employment laws, and enhancing initiatives aimed at employee engagement and organizational culture.
Qualifications and Skills
- Proven expertise in Human Resources and Personnel Management, supporting both employees and managerial staff effectively.
- Experienced in HR operations such as recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and routine HR administrative tasks.
- Adept at developing, interpreting, and enforcing HR policies in compliance with employment legislation and organizational protocols.
- Skilled in managing employee benefits programs, including handling communications, administration, and employee inquiries.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills coupled with conflict resolution capabilities to build trust across all levels of the company.
- Strong organizational talents, adept time management, keen attention to detail, and maintaining confidentiality of HR information.
- Competent in using HR information systems and Microsoft Office or equivalent software tools.
- Possesses relevant tertiary education in Human Resources, Business, or related fields, or holds equivalent professional experience.
- Experience within service or trade sectors such as security, construction, or facilities management is considered advantageous.
