About the Role
Terra Site Constructors, LLC is seeking a seasoned Human Resources Generalist to join their team. This role is ideal for someone proficient in all core areas of human resources and capable of managing multiple tasks in a dynamic workplace environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage recruitment processes using diverse sourcing channels.
- Coordinate interview schedules and perform initial candidate screenings.
- Extend job offers and conduct thorough reference and background checks on new hires.
- Oversee onboarding for new employees, including I-9 documentation, drug screening, insurance enrollment, and orientation sessions.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date personnel files for all employees.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to create and update job descriptions.
- Contribute to and support the creation of employee handbooks, policies, and standard procedures.
- Partner with management to identify staff training requirements.
- Organize programs and events designed to cultivate a positive workplace culture through employee and company activities.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with an emphasis on Human Resource Management is preferred.
- Professional certification in Human Resources is advantageous.
- Between 3 and 7 years of experience in a comprehensive HR Generalist capacity is required.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proficient with computer applications including Excel, report writing, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience effectively engaging with all organizational levels and addressing diverse staff needs.
