Description de l'emploi

Role overview

Ryanair is hiring an HR Officer to join Europe’s largest airline group in Dublin. This role offers the chance to support a rapidly expanding business that expects to grow to more than 800 aircraft and 300 million guests over the next decade.

As an HR Officer, you will serve as a key point of contact for the HR team and support more than 27,000 aviation professionals across the company’s European network. The position covers a wide variety of HR and administrative work, including legal matters, contract preparation, employee relations, and regular travel to assigned bases to meet employees and handle their concerns.

The role is designed for someone early in their career who is ready to take on significant responsibility. You will be expected to operate with a manager-level mindset for a group of 1,000+ employees, make day-to-day decisions, advise leaders, and help resolve employee relations issues.

What you will do

  • Take responsibility for the full HR support function across assigned bases or areas covering up to 1,000+ employees.
  • Track absenteeism and staff turnover patterns and act on any trends that emerge.
  • Support and advise managers at all levels on HR matters, including routine questions, grievances, disciplinary inquiries, and preparation for legal cases.
  • Keep HR records, files, and system data accurate and up to date.
  • Provide weekly updates to the HR Manager on issues within your area.
  • Handle administration related to contracts, payroll, references, and similar HR documentation.
  • Use your understanding of the business and HR model to respond to employee questions and make sound decisions.
  • Draft professional correspondence such as disciplinary letters and other formal HR communications.
  • Contribute to ad hoc projects whenever needed.
  • Assist with preparation for legal cases, including local litigation across Europe and matters involving WRC and LC.
  • Travel across Europe to meet employees, take part in interviews, and support employee negotiations.

What you need

  • A relevant degree in HR or business is required.
  • Comfort working in a high-pressure, fast-moving environment.
  • Strong planning and organisational ability.
  • Good interpersonal skills and the ability to build effective working relationships.
  • Confidence to work independently and take initiative.
  • Excellent spoken and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently to tight deadlines.
  • Strong PC proficiency, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Benefits

  • Competitive pay package.
  • Discounted and unlimited travel to more than 250 destinations.
  • Defined contribution pension plan.
  • Death-in-service cover of up to twice annual basic salary.
  • 20 days of annual leave, rising to 22 days after 12 months and 25 days after 3 years of continuous service.
  • Option to take up to 5 additional unpaid leave days each year.
  • Cycle to Work scheme.
  • Strong opportunities for career progression.
