Description de l'emploi
Overview
We are supporting a professional services firm in Dublin to hire an experienced HR Officer for a standalone position. This is a strong opportunity for someone who wants end-to-end responsibility for the HR function in a respected, long-established business.
The role is broad and practical, with day-to-day ownership of HR activity across the employee lifecycle. You will serve as the main HR contact for the firm, working closely with the Managing Partner and helping to reinforce a positive, engaged and high-performing workplace.
Success in this role will require the confidence to work independently, balance a varied workload, and advise people at different levels of seniority with sound judgement and discretion.
Key Responsibilities
- Be the primary contact for HR-related questions across the firm.
- Offer clear, workable guidance on HR policies, employee relations matters and employment law.
- Handle employee relations matters in a fair, consistent and professional manner.
- Support Managers and Partners with coaching on performance, conduct and wider people issues.
- Oversee recruitment, onboarding and induction activities.
- Work with Team Leads and Partners on workforce planning requirements.
- Keep HR systems, employee records and reporting up to date.
- Assist with payroll changes and coordinate with the Finance team.
- Organise learning, development and training programmes.
- Drive employee engagement and wellbeing initiatives.
- Help maintain HR policies and ensure compliance obligations are met.
- Support broader operational and office-related tasks where needed.
About You
You should have a recognised HR qualification and at least 5 years of HR generalist experience. A strong understanding of Irish employment legislation is essential, along with practical experience managing employee relations cases.
This role will suit someone who is comfortable operating on their own in a standalone or wide-ranging generalist HR position. You will also need excellent communication, organisation and stakeholder management skills.
Experience gained in a professional services environment would be an advantage.
