Position Overview

This role involves managing HR activities within the plant, including workforce and labor management, payroll coordination, attendance monitoring, compliance with labor laws, employee relations, and maintaining workplace hygiene and safety standards. The candidate should have relevant manufacturing HR experience and thorough knowledge of labor regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee workforce and contract labor deployment aligning with production needs.
  • Coordinate manpower planning with labor contractors, monitor workforce discipline and productivity.
  • Maintain accurate labor documentation including statutory registers and contractor records.
  • Manage daily attendance through biometric or manual systems, verify attendance, overtime, leave, and shifts.
  • Prepare attendance data for payroll processing and collaborate with payroll teams to ensure prompt salary payments.
  • Ensure full compliance with laws such as the Minimum Wages Act and Factory Act, including verification of PF, ESIC, Bonus, and contractor compliance documents.
  • Maintain statutory records, assist audits, monitor contractor wage payments and legal adherence.
  • Handle employee grievances, maintain workplace discipline, organize employee engagement, and facilitate conflict resolution and counseling.
  • Maintain plant hygiene, housekeeping, and sanitation, work with housekeeping and department heads, and support implementation of 5S, GMP, and safety protocols.
  • Conduct regular inspections of plant facilities and staff amenities.
  • Lead recruitment activities for blue-collar and staff positions including screening, interview scheduling, induction, and HR document maintenance.

Qualifications and Experience

  • MBA (HR), PGDM (HR), MSW, or Graduate with pertinent HR experience.
  • 2–5 years working in plant, factory, or manufacturing HR operations.
