Household Data Specialist

Overview

This contract role focuses on producing precise, specification-driven video examples of common household activities. The work is remote and paid at $30 per hour, with a weekly commitment ranging from 10 to 40 hours.

What You’ll Do

• Record and submit high-quality video demonstrations of everyday home tasks while using a UMI gripper wearable.
• Work closely to task instructions so every recording aligns with the project’s technical and quality standards.
• Incorporate reviewer feedback and continuously improve the quality of your submissions.
• Set up and use the recording gear and UMI gripper in a way that closely reflects natural hand motion during household activities.
• Keep communication clear and timely with the client’s project team, both in writing and through direct conversation.
• Maintain a steady weekly output to satisfy the minimum approved data target.

• Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow detailed instructions accurately.
• Good manual dexterity and comfort handling tasks that require physical precision in home settings.
• Confidence using, wearing, and setting up specialized devices and recording equipment.
• Ability to take feedback well and make repeated improvements to your work process and results.
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills, with a willingness to respond quickly to feedback.
