About the Role

Iceland Foods is looking to hire a dependable Home Delivery Driver based in Felixstowe, committed to delivering excellent service and ensuring customer satisfaction. As the public face of the company, you will be responsible for transporting groceries directly to customers while maintaining high standards of safety and service.

Key Responsibilities

• Properly load the delivery van following safety protocols, including handling heavy items and manual lifting.
• Adhere strictly to safe driving practices at all times while on the road.
• Conduct thorough pre-use vehicle checks to ensure the van is in good working condition.
• Ensure groceries arrive fresh and in optimal condition to customers.
• Deliver outstanding customer service through friendly and professional interactions.
• Provide assistance in-store when necessary to support team activities.
• Manage your schedule independently, demonstrating good time management and flexibility with shift patterns between 6am and 11pm.

Candidate Profile

• Possess a full driving license held for a minimum of three years, with fewer than six penalty points.
• Exhibit a positive attitude and enthusiasm for delivering exceptional customer experiences.
• Show punctuality and the ability to meet deadlines reliably.
• Maintain a strong commitment to road safety awareness and practices.
