Heavy Equipment Assessor

Job Overview

The position is based in Dammam and involves conducting performance evaluations of contractor personnel to pre-screen candidates for Saudi Aramco projects. The Heavy Equipment Assessor plays a key role in developing, administering, reporting, and analyzing certification processes in collaboration with the Certification Team. This includes ensuring both written and practical evaluations are up to date and compliant with company policies across several heavy equipment disciplines such as rigging, crane operation, and various heavy machinery like backhoe, bulldozer, forklift, grader, wheel loader, skid loader, backhoe loader, sideboom, and telehandler.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct competency assessments for operators of heavy equipment, cranes, and rigging.
• Support the creation and maintenance of both written and practical assessment tools in areas of expertise.
• Execute assessments efficiently and uphold professional standards.
• Analyze assessment results comprehensively.
• Mentor personnel as needed.
• Assist in Quality Assurance audits.
• Contribute to the review and update of policies and procedures.
• Enforce and comply with the EnergyTech HE Certifications Unit policies.

Qualifications & Experience

• Technical diploma or equivalent qualification relevant to the craft or subject.
• Certification in heavy equipment operation (including backhoe, bulldozer, forklift, wheel loader, backhoe loader), cranes, and/or rigging.
• Fluency in English with proficient reading and writing skills.
• Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
• Minimum of 5 years of industrial experience in the relevant role.
• At least 3 years of experience as an instructor or teacher.
• At least 3 years experience in a role related to assessments or evaluating skills.
• Experience in training and assessment development is an asset.

Salary

The salary range for this role is SAR 12,000 to SAR 15,000 per month.
