Overview
Serenity Supported Homecare Ltd., trading as Serenity Care, is recruiting Healthcare Assistants for locations in Ballynadrumny, Broadford, County Kildare, and Sean Carraig House, Corballis, Rathdrum, County Wicklow. Role summary
The Health Care Assistant will deliver high-quality clinical support and person-centred care in the community. You will help create a respectful, caring atmosphere that supports patients’ physical, emotional, social, and intellectual wellbeing while maintaining strong professional standards in all assigned duties.
Key duties
- Provide a high standard of clinical care to patients.
- Deliver person-centred support tailored to the needs of community patients.
- Help maintain a compassionate environment that supports the full range of patient needs.
- Carry out assigned care tasks and responsibilities to consistently high standards.
Confidentiality and data protection
During the course of employment, you may become aware of sensitive medical, personal, or business information relating to clients, staff, or the organisation. This information must be kept strictly confidential. All records and handling of information must also comply with GDPR requirements.
Essential criteria
- QQI Level 5 qualification, or an equivalent credential, in a relevant healthcare area.
Desirable experience
- Up to 6 months’ experience working in a healthcare environment.
Working pattern
This is a full-time position with guaranteed hours. The role involves 39 hours per week and follows a 12-hour shift pattern, including day shifts. Employment is described as full-time and permanent.
