Head of Trading Operations

Overview

We seek a seasoned Head of Trading Operations to oversee and develop the technical trading infrastructure for our Forex brokerage. The role requires expertise in MetaTrader 5 (MT5), liquidity providers, trading bridges, and brokerage operations. You will ensure a robust, swift, and dependable trading environment while collaborating closely with technology, product, and management teams.

Primary Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage MT5 trading servers administration.
• Configure and sustain trading instruments, symbols, leverage, commissions, swaps, spreads, and session schedules.
• Integrate and operate liquidity providers via bridges like OneZero, PrimeXM, Your Bourse, or similar technology.
• Analyze execution quality, pricing, latency, and overall trading performance.
• Set up and maintain A Book and B Book routing methodologies.
• Supervise client trading activity, exposure, and risk parameters.
• Collaborate with liquidity providers to address pricing and execution problems.
• Work alongside developers on API integration, automation, and platform upgrades.
• Guarantee minimal downtime of trading systems.
• Troubleshoot trading infrastructure, bridge connectivity, and MT5-related challenges.
• Support onboarding of new liquidity providers and cutting-edge trading technologies.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation for trading infrastructure and operating procedures.

Job Requirements

• At least 5 years’ experience within Forex or CFD brokerage environments.
• Proven expertise administering MetaTrader 5 platforms.
• Experience with bridge solutions including OneZero, PrimeXM, Your Bourse, or equivalent providers.
• Strong understanding of FIX API connectivity.
• Proven work with liquidity providers and pricing feed management.
• In-depth knowledge of A Book, B Book, hybrid execution models, and risk control.
• Competence configuring trading symbols, markups, swaps, commissions, and leverage settings.
• Excellent troubleshooting and analytical capabilities.
• Capable of working independently in dynamic, fast-paced settings.

Preferred Skills

• Experience initiating or expanding a Forex brokerage.
• Familiarity with brokerage CRM systems.
• Worked with multiple liquidity providers and liquidity aggregation techniques.
• Understanding of trading plugins, dealer tools, and methods to optimize execution.
• Knowledge of Forex brokerage regulatory and compliance standards and operational best practices.
