Opportunity

An established and rapidly expanding beauty and personal care company in London is hiring an accomplished Head of Supply Chain. This is a newly introduced leadership position with scope to define and strengthen the full end-to-end supply chain approach in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial, and collaborative setting.

The business is seeking a seasoned supply chain leader who performs well in a dynamic FMCG environment and can improve operational performance while guiding a high-performing team.

Role overview

Reporting to the senior leadership team, you will oversee the complete supply chain operation, ensuring products move efficiently across several markets while enhancing processes, service standards, and commercial outcomes. You will work in close partnership with Operations, Sales, Commercial, Finance, and Product Development to help support the company’s continued expansion.

Key responsibilities

• Take full ownership of the end-to-end supply chain function.
• Shape and deliver a supply chain strategy that supports business growth objectives.
• Oversee forecasting, demand planning, inventory control, and supply planning.
• Develop effective partnerships with manufacturers, suppliers, logistics providers, and external third parties.
• Lead ongoing improvements across supply chain processes and ways of working.
• Manage and develop a capable, high-performing supply chain team.
• Track KPIs and introduce changes that improve service levels and operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with internal teams to support product launches and wider business growth.
• Handle budgets and identify opportunities to reduce costs and improve performance.
• Ensure all supply chain activities comply with relevant regulations and standards.

Candidate profile

To succeed in this role, you should bring prior experience as a Head of Supply Chain or in a similar senior supply chain leadership role. Background in FMCG is essential, and experience in beauty, cosmetics, or personal care would be a strong advantage.

You will need hands-on expertise in demand planning, inventory management, logistics, procurement, and supplier management, along with strong leadership and team management capabilities. A commercial outlook, the ability to influence senior stakeholders, and a proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making are also important. Strong communication and relationship-building skills are required.

Salary and benefits

The base salary for this position is £75,000 to £85,000, depending on experience.
