Head of Operations

About the Role

The Head of Operations will oversee and expand operations for multiple fulfillment, warehouse, and distribution locations within a rapidly growing technology-driven healthcare company. This role, based in Clearwater, Florida or Austin, Texas, is designed for a proactive operational leader who excels in dynamic environments and seeks substantial responsibility to influence the future of a digital health and pharmacy platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of warehouse, fulfillment, and distribution across various sites.
• Lower labor costs per prescription by enhancing operational efficiency.
• Revise and execute improved workflows and throughput strategies.
• Lead facility expansion projects including layout design and capacity planning.
• Optimize packaging, shipping, and logistics to elevate cost-effectiveness.
• Assemble and lead large, complex operational teams.
• Implement KPIs, reporting mechanisms, and performance management systems across locations.
• Collaborate with leadership on supply chain, procurement, and growth initiatives.
• Engage actively onsite to ensure execution and accountability.
• Must reside in the greater Clearwater, Florida or Dallas, Texas areas and be able to travel between sites.

Candidate Profile

• Experience in high-volume logistics and distribution settings.
• Demonstrated success managing large-scale warehouse or fulfillment operations.
• Expertise in optimizing labor, scaling facilities, and refining processes.
• Hands-on operator with a readiness to work directly on the floor.
• Experienced in fast-paced, growing, or resource-limited environments, preferably startups or scale-ups.
• Strong background in logistics, distribution, and physical operations rather than clinical or pharmacy areas.
• Proven record of implementing cost-saving and efficiency-enhancing measures.

Compensation and Benefits

• Annual salary between 170000 and 200000 USD.
• Target bonus of 25%, plus benefits and long-term incentives.
