About Lost Media
Lost Media is a talent management firm specializing in supporting online creators globally by managing their operations behind the scenes so creators can focus on producing content. As the company experiences rapid growth, marketing has become its most influential area, leading to the need for a dedicated leader to expand and oversee marketing efforts across its client roster.
Role Overview
The Head of Marketing will oversee marketing strategies and execution across the entire client and talent portfolio, focusing on each creator as an individual business. The objective is to identify and prioritize high-impact growth opportunities tailored to each creator's unique audience and platform dynamics.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and analyze current marketing approaches for each creator to pinpoint the most impactful strategic moves.
- Develop customized growth strategies for creators, prioritizing from the largest to others on the roster.
- Engage directly in execution activities including content planning, funnel building, paid promotions, community engagement, and other tactics as required.
- Systematize successful marketing strategies into scalable standard operating procedures (SOPs) for application across multiple creators.
- Recruit, instruct, and manage a team of marketers, editors, and specialists as the marketing function expands.
- Provide clear quantitative reporting on growth and effectiveness for each client.
- Coordinate and participate in occasional in-person events or productions such as content houses or trips.
Candidate Profile
- Proven experience growing audiences and revenue for creators, personal brands, or talent, either from an agency environment or in-house role.
- Strong focus on leveraging high-impact opportunities rather than dispersing efforts across multiple low-impact campaigns.
- Ability to autonomously own marketing outcomes with minimal oversight.
- Capability to transition seamlessly from strategic planning to practical execution within short timeframes.
- Prior experience in hiring and managing marketing personnel.
- Preferred: knowledge or experience in monetization models for creators, subscription services, or community-driven growth initiatives.
Compensation and Terms
This is a full-time contract role offering a monthly salary ranging between $6,000 and $15,000 based on experience, plus performance incentives potentially reaching an on-target earning of $200,000 annually. The position is fully remote with occasional travel for onsite events, which will be covered by the company. The role reports directly to directors and provides significant autonomy from the outset.
