Role overview

An ambitious and rapidly expanding business is looking for a seasoned Head of Digital & E-Commerce to join its senior leadership group. This position suits a commercially minded digital leader who wants to shape strategy, influence major business decisions, and contribute directly to the company’s next stage of growth.

The role will have a strong impact on online revenue, digital channel performance, new product introductions, and market expansion. The successful person will work closely with leadership to steer the digital direction of the business.

Key responsibilities

• Set and deliver the company’s wider e-commerce and digital marketing strategy.
• Improve online sales performance and support sustained revenue growth.
• Lead the launch of new products, including market entry and go-to-market planning.
• Review performance metrics, return on investment, and customer behaviour trends to guide decisions.
• Oversee budgets and monitor the effectiveness of digital marketing activity.
• Build, coach, and lead a high-performing team.

What the business is looking for

• Background in a senior e-commerce leadership position.
• Strong commercial awareness combined with digital marketing expertise.
• Hands-on experience bringing products successfully to market.
• Ability to think strategically and manage teams effectively.
• Working knowledge of Google Analytics; Magento experience would be an advantage.

Additional information

Location: UK

Salary: £85,000 to £110,000 depending on experience.
